Create Central welcomes new Board members

Create Central proudly welcomes Mikayla Sinead and Matt Turner to our Executive Board

Ed Shedd, Chair of Create Central, said, "I am delighted to welcome Mikayla and Matt to our board. Mikayla's extensive experience in games and immersive arts, coupled with her commitment to diversity and inclusion, makes her an invaluable addition to our team. Matt brings with him many years of experience in the global games industry. I am confident that both their expertise and leadership will significantly contribute to our mission of supporting the West Midlands games sector."

Mikayla Sinead said, "I am incredibly excited to be joining the Create Central Board. It's an awesome opportunity to pay it forward to the region that has invested so much in me. I am looking forward to playing my part in contributing to shaping the future of the creative industry, especially in terms of driving further diversity and innovation. I am eager to get started on collaborating with the board members and utilising my experiences to push for more positive changes in the West Midlands."

Matt Turner

Matt Turner said, "I'm thrilled to join the Create Central board and be a part of such a vibrant and forward-thinking network. The opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals who are passionate about supporting the growth and innovation of the West Midlands games sector is incredibly inspiring to me. I'm looking forward to supporting Create Central to unlock new opportunities, break down barriers, and cultivate an environment where innovation thrives.”

In addition to Mikayla and Matt joining the Board we have also welcomed two new members to our Sustainability and Games Squads. Satish Danny Paul, a sustainability consultant at Capgemini, joins the Sustainability Squad and Dan Vargas, from Ubisoft, is joining our Games Sector Squad.
