Announcing the West Midlands IP Fund: Narrative, a new opportunity for narrative scripted and unscripted screen projects in the region
Project funding of up to £20,000 is available for scripted and non-scripted narrative projects for film, TV and animation – from single fiction and documentary films to series. The fund has been designed to support and help sustain local, homegrown screen production companies to develop their own original IP, and is delivered in partnership between West Midlands Combined Authority, Create Central and Creative UK.
Applicants must be SMEs based in the West Midlands Combined Authority region to apply.
The partnership with Create Central and Creative UK aims to enhance the quality and volume of production, develop an inclusive talent pipeline and reflect more diverse voices and experiences from across the West Midlands.
The West Midlands IP Fund was launched in July 2024 and is supported by the West Midlands Combined Authority and Create Central, and delivered by Creative UK, providing development funding in the region.
