Alison Warner is Head of Original Content for Blue Zoo Animation and has responsibility for the growth and exploitation of Blue Zoo’s original in-house content including the Number 1 hit shows Mojo Swoptops, Numberblocks, Alphablocks, Millie and Lou and Big Tree City.

She is also charged with sourcing original properties across all genres (pre-school, older kid’s content, specials, and animated features) from third parties to develop, fund and produce in house. Mojo Swoptops is a particular passion project as Alison originally acquired the rights in 2004, which after a 16-year hiatus, were co-developed and produced at the BBC and has sold to a number of key broadcasters internationally.

Alison previously served as Vice President of IP Sales, Acquisitions and Co-Productions for Technicolor Creative Development. While there, Alison developed and implemented funding and sales strategies for TCD’s in-house animated properties and sourced new properties to acquire or co-produce.

Alison is passionate about making outstanding animated shows for children of all ages that excite, enhance, and entertain. She is also on the Advisory board for the Children’s Media Conference, the British Screen Forum and Vice-Chair for Create Central.
